Before chiropractic entered my life, I lived in a fog of migraines, medications, and survival- mode living. I had debilitating headaches twice a month for over 12 years—ever since a roller-skating fall back in the '80s (yeah, I’m that kind of 80s baby). Springtime triggered my asthma, and I relied on meds or self-medicating just to take the edge off.
Everything changed after a seemingly harmless 5mph fender bender. A chiropractor noticed my posture and said something no one else had: “You have a physical problem from that accident—and it needs a physical solution.” He was right. I didn’t even know what a chiropractor was. But what started as curiosity became a total health transformation.
Now, I’m free from medication. I haven’t had a migraine in years. My only prescription is my weekly adjustment—because it unlocks my body’s inner pharmacy, restores circulation, keeps old injuries moving, and gives me the best chance to live fully alive.
That’s why I do what I do. Because I lived the other way—and it’s no way to live.

These moments capture two of the most meaningful patient experiences in Dr. Ryan’s career.
The first took place during a chiropractic mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Dr. Ryan met a woman who had been feeling unwell for quite some time. After receiving an adjustment, she experienced an immediate release—vomiting at first, then feeling a remarkable return of energy and vitality. Overwhelmed with gratitude, she invited Dr. Ryan into her home and offered him a Coca-Cola—a deeply meaningful gesture given her modest living conditions. It was a powerful reminder of the human connection that can come through healing.
The second story is of Miss Pam, Dr. Ryan’s first elderly patient. She was full of wisdom and humor, often saying, “Don’t drive faster than your guardian angel.” This particular photo was taken after one of her adjustments—she was glowing. Though she has since passed, her bond with Dr. Ryan was so strong that her family invited him to her funeral. Her memory remains one of the most special and lasting in his practice.
These experiences continue to inspire Dr. Ryan’s commitment to compassionate, hands-on care—both at home and abroad.

This was me on a chiropractic mission trip to the Dominican Republic. This woman was truly special. After I adjusted her, she actually threw up—and then her vitality came back. She was so grateful that she invited me into her home and gave me a Coca-Cola, which meant a lot considering her circumstances and living conditions. It was one of the most meaningful patient visits I’ve ever had. I can also get a photo in the next few days here at the practice of me working with a patient, if needed.
